Move NJ Fit, Thumb Bread, + CBD Oil Massages

It’s that time of the week — The Thursday 3 has arrived! This week we’re talking body assessments, carbs, and massage. It’s a wild Thursday, that’s fo sho. Read on for our favorite picks from the week, and feel free to submit your own for a potential feature.

1. Move NJ Fit {909 Jefferson Street in Hoboken}

Movement-Oriented-Variable-Exercise is what MOVE NJ Fit actually stands for, and it’s a small but mighty training facility {appointment only} — located at 909 Jefferson Street in Hoboken. Jared Hahn started Move NJ Fit with his wife, Michele, after realizing that so much of what governs people’s workouts are the way they move — which an either help them or cause them injury. Having a background in personal training, nutrition, and advanced knowledge of functional anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, he takes personal training to the next level. Jared offers a free body assessment, so you can get an idea of how you’d work together with him. It’s totally worth checking out, and was actually nominated as a finalist in “Best Workout” in Hoboken for our 2018 Best of Guide.

2. Thumb Bread Created by Flatbread Grill

Order from Flatbread Grill on the reg? Obsessed with the thumb bread? Soon you’ll be able to order it in stores. Esendemir sisters + triple threat Arzu, Gonca, and Fusun are rolling out Thumb Bread in stores *hopefully* this spring 2019 — wooo! In the meantime, order it at either the Hoboken or Journal Square location. #WorththeCarbs. More about Flatbread Grill here.

3. CBD Oil Massages @ om.life

CBD oil is all the rage, but a CBD oil massage is a lesser-known phenomenon that we HIGHLY recommend. Enter om.life, a boutique spa haven on Marin Boulevard in Jersey City. This zen locale offers not only floatation therapy {we’re obsessed} and infrared saunas, but also CBD Oil massages by Mark, its in-house masseuse. A must-try for anyone suffering from stress, anxiety, or physical pain. Salt rocks not included {but appreciated}.

And thus concludes our Thursday 3. Have a tip or idea for a Thurs 3 feature?

When not planning the next Hoboken Girl event or #HobokenGirlHelps volunteer project, she can usually be found shopping at local boutiques, eating an Insta-worthy meal, walking her French bulldog Pierre + rescue pup Finn, or watching some really bad {but oh-so-good} reality TV and ordering takeout with her husband.
